I
think I have heard the worst from President George Bush and then what's next?
At the St. Louis Presidential Debate a young man asked what was being done
for the environment. After reading the "Up in Smoke" article in
the April NYT magazine, I thought surely this will be a problem for Pres.
Bush. When he mumbled something about "Clean air, Clean water",
I was stunned. My other questions are why are some people feeling safe with
Pres. Bush when he was President on 9/11, 2001? Why did the President spend
most of August, 2001 at his ranch? Why no meetings about terrorists, terrorism,
and no planning for an attack on U.S. soil? There was information available
which must have been ignored so 9/11 was looming on the horizon. KERRY/EDWARDS
